George Toriello sent me this information from military and census records on December 27, 2019 on Robert Bruce Holman. According to 1940 Federal Census, Robert B. Holman was born on December 18, 1922 and his family lived at 17 Maple Avenue Hackensack, New Jersey.
According to military records, he enlisted into the Army on January 8, 1943 and was at Fort Devens, Mass. Robert Bruce Holman went on to serve in the U.S. Army Air Force rising to the rank of 2nd Lieutenant with the 326th Unit Bomber Squadron 92nd Bomber Group Heavy Main Aircraft, B17 Flying Fortress.
